Instructions
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef stew meat and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer the beef to the Crock Pot.
In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Transfer the onion and garlic to the Crock Pot.
Add the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to the Crock Pot. Stir to combine all ingredients.
Cover the Crock Pot and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the beef is tender and the flavors have melded together.
About 30 minutes before serving, cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions. Drain the noodles and set aside.
Once the beef tips are done, taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve the beef tips and gravy over the cooked egg noodles.
