  • Immersion blender or potato masher
  • Colander

Ingredients

  • 1 head cauliflower cut into florets
  • 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
  • 1/4 cup milk or cream for richer texture
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chives chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the cauliflower florets and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until tender.

  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot, garnished with chopped chives.

Notes

Chef's Tips:
• For a richer texture, use heavy cream instead of milk.
• Avoid over-blending to prevent a gluey consistency.
• Serve with a drizzle of olive oil for an extra touch of flavor.
Food Safety:
• Ensure cauliflower is cooked thoroughly to avoid any risk of foodborne illness.
• Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
