Instructions
Wash the lemon and ginger thoroughly. Slice the lemon into thin rounds and peel and slice the ginger into thin pieces.
In a large pitcher, combine the sliced lemon and ginger with 8 cups of water. Stir gently to mix.
If using, add a few mint leaves for extra flavor. You can also add a tablespoon of honey if you prefer a sweeter taste.
Refrigerate the mixture for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to infuse into the water.
