  • Loaf pan or freezer-safe container
  • Spatula

Ingredients

  • 2 cups heavy cream Chilled for best results
  • 1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract Adjust to taste
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips Semi-sweet or dark

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, about 3-5 minutes using an electric mixer.

  • If using, add the green food coloring and mix until the desired color is achieved.
  • Fold in the mini chocolate chips evenly throughout the mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan or freezer-safe container. Cover with plastic wrap or a lid and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
  • Once frozen, scoop and serve. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an added aesthetic touch.

Notes

Chef's Tips:
• For a smoother texture, let the ice cream sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before serving.
• Avoid overmixing the whipped cream to maintain a light, airy texture.
• Serve in chilled bowls for an extra refreshing experience.
Food Safety:
• Ensure ice cream reaches a safe temperature of 0°F (-18°C) in the freezer.
• Store leftovers in an airtight container to prevent freezer burn.
