Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Fresh mint leaves Packed tightly
  • 2 tbsp White vinegar Distilled or white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Sugar Granulated
  • 1/4 cup Boiling water
  • Salt To taste

Method
 

  1. Finely chop the fresh mint leaves and place them in a heatproof bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the white vinegar and sugar until the sugar dissolves completely.
  3. Pour the boiling water over the chopped mint, then immediately add the vinegar-sugar mixture.
  4. Stir well to combine all ingredients. Let the sauce sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  5. Season with salt to taste before serving.
