Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 lean-to-fat ratio recommended
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Panko or regular
  • 1/4 cup milk Whole milk for best results
  • 1 egg Beaten
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic Minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley Finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter. You should get around 16 meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  5. Remove from the oven and let the meatballs rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Chef's Tips:
• For extra flavor, try adding a splash of Worcestershire sauce to the meat mixture
